Sarah Spencer has an M.S. from the School for Conflict Analysis & Resolution. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marriage, Family and Human Development from Brigham Young University. She worked as a Social Worker for Healthy Families Arizona, along with a background in criminal defense work. She has done field work in Colombia, Northern Ireland and India in conflict resolution and peacebuilding. Sarah's academic interests include narrative practice, peacebuilding, and genocide and mass atrocity prevention. She joins the S-CAR community as the Managing Director of the Narrative Center, as well as a Research Fellow to Dr. Sara Cobb.
